In September, the weather is usually warm during the day (21°C) and cooler at night (10°C). Ottawa often sees rain this time of year. All parts of the wedding will be held indoors, but plan accordingly if you are spending time outdoors during your visit!

We recommend staying in Centretown because of the many hotel options and proximity to the wedding venue. We have included hotel options for your consideration in the Travel & Stay section. Ottawa is a very safe city. The Byward Market, an area of the city known for its restaurants and nightlife, can get a little rowdy at night.

Formal.

We will be hosting both the ceremony and the reception at the Château Laurier located at 1 Rideau Street, Ottawa. The ceremony will take place in the Canadian Room, while the reception will take place in the Drawing Room.

Parking at the hotel is limited, we recommend arriving via Uber or Taxi. If you require parking, there is a public parking lot available nearby on George Street in the Byward Market, as well as at the National Arts Centre on Elgin Street.

Plus ones will be indicated on the invitation.

We kindly ask that children do not attend.

We are more than happy for you to share photos on social media. Don't forget to tag us!  We will be asking our guests to put their phones away during our ceremony so that you can be present with us in the moment. Don’t worry – our photographers will be there to capture these special moments!
